Cato van Ee

Keep in mind that the big editorial work doesn't pay her anything, but she has consistently got good commercial deals such as Topshop, Adidas...and now Clarins. Plus, catalogs like J. Crew are indicative of her being hired for other catalog work (probably a lot which we never see here). I really think if IMG wanted to push her on the runway they would find a way, I just think they have a different strategy for her.

Absolutely agree, but on this forum at least, you'd think fashion week is an olympic event and the medal count means everything. This is just so not true. Cato's success comes with money, not profile. Maybe not exactly what the fans want but it ain't about her fans, its about her.;)

It's not like I miss her look at the runway, I think she is the other way around of Lisanne de Jong. Lisanne looks stunning at the runway but most of the time boring in her photowork and Cato looks stunning in her photowork (well not in the last D&G) but most of the time boring at the runway.

But why so soon this direction? I can't imagine that's what IMG wanted for her. Lara Stone once joined IMG cause Elite gives her this kind of work.

Ofcourse success comes with money and some models walks a great season but don't get any big jobs. But look at the names that walks the shows. The ones that stopped walking (Raquel, Gisele, Doutzen) made it in the industry. Cato not, but maybe this is her path and yeah she did the D&G campaign, foundation add. so will see.

Well time will tell. maybe she shows up in London.

from what I've heard she's not doing a lot of runway because there's a sizing problem with the samples...

well oops yes i meant her size is a problem when fitting the samples.

you don't hear me saying she's too big though..well we can't discuss it here anyway

no no, i don't mean that you think she is too big, but for the runway.
