vodka taste tests

Have any of you seen the NY Times vodka taste test from last year? They voted Smirnoff as the best, even with Belvedere, Grey Goose, etc. in the competition. I couldn't believe it. Slate's taste test results seem more accurate. I've always liked Ketel One, but have not tried Chopin yet.

I hope, pray and predict that this will be a big failure. "Designer" booze is nice as a distraction, nothing more. IMO.

Cavalli isn't even a household name you'd connect to elegance or quality.

I agree...he looked down upon by most in the world of style...his designs are vulgar and most celebrities I see wearing Cavalli are tacky, as well...
