^^Repetitive he may be, but his clothes are beyond amazing...After seeing the clothes in person tonight, I have a new respect for him. The buzz after his show was electric...he received a standing ovation and the construction of the clothes was just pure perfection!

he is so talented-
perhaps his clothes do not alter the trends- they are not groundbreaking in that sense- but the cuts and techniques of construction are truly amazing.

it all has a certain 90s feeling to it, imo. but nonetheless, it's really beautiful, and wearable. and the shoes!! just amazing.

agreed with you, RR is clearly established as THE exceptional case of a real 'maitre' in the NY design 'scene' but still.. since two seasons now, i believe he could spice up a bit his 'repertoire' if you get my point

Rucci does know his clientele, and it's good stuff for older women of means, such as a Deeda Blair:
Perhaps he can throw in a twist, but maybe he's like Oscar de la Renta and Vollbracht for Blass -- they have a clientele, a good business and why try and jack with what works?
