While the fashion crowd has never been particularly known for their tech-savvy, it seems the web is finally being sanctioned as sexy. First Marc Jacobs gets a MySpace page, then Stella McCartney schedules a virtual anti-fur protest tomorrow on secondlife.com.

Now, Hussein Chalayan, Moschino, and Miuccia Prada join the party with new items available exclusively on their websites. The highly conceptual Chalayan recently made his first foray into e-commerce with a collection of "e-shirts:" vintage prints whose design inspirations were culled from his past collections, available exclusively on his site.

They’re perfect for a fashion-forward woman who can’t quite pull off the "bubble" dress from his spring collection. Never one to be behind the curve, Prada also goes digital with its first online auction, featuring prototype pieces from the fall collection that were never produced. New items will go up on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays through July 25, and the starting bids are small prices to pay for dresses and accessories you can be sure nobody else will have.

Finally, Moschino gets in on the internet action with the announcement that their historical archives will go on sale this fall at yoox.com, with proceeds benefiting the African Medical and Research Foundation. Visitors will be able to access decades of womenswear, menswear, and accessories with just a click of the mouse.
