CHANEL Black Satin Nail Polish

I must admit it becomes duller on the next day,but still love it. I am having clear polish on it so it stands shiny enough for the other days.

^MAC Nocturnelle is almost identical but it stays shiny much longer.
I was trying them on, one in hand and the other on the other hand, and the only difference I notice was that Nocturnelle is more shiny than Black Satin.
If you like the shine you should try it. I love them both.

Just bought a bottle of Chanel Black Satin (EU Version), there is one left at the store... had luck to come by a less frequented store with Chanel stuff. Anyway, I've already tried it many months ago, better coverage, shiny, smell goes away faster and no chipping after 2 weeks (better compared to Maybelline Colorama and Margaret Astor Black Nail Polish)

just applied it, I've been wearing black nail polish for several years now and I can say it's more opaque than most drugstore stuff AND it stinks less when applied and the typical polish stench also goes away faster. but is this really worth 7 times the price of drugstore stuff? gotta wear it for a week...

I usually just add clear polish over the black. Always adds a glossy shine

It's a great color. I purchased it when it came out and I love it. If you'd like to start the thread that would be great

And as far as shiny topcoats are concerned, I think Chanel's high gloss topcoat is amazing! Really adds great shine and lasts a long time

I agree about Nocturnelle, it's really great. Very black and very shiny. It also lasts, I've been wearing it for almost a week and it hasn't chipped or anything.
