The heel was higher on the runway version, and it looked better. But still, it's a very cute shoe, the over-the-topness only makes it cuter.

The heel should be higher on the production version. Only an excellent dresser/stylist could make this shoe work and not end up on the worst-dressed list.

both versions were actually on the runway, but i agree that it looks better with a higher heel. and i prefer it in black...

Ya, they're less clunky than the production version, I want them to make them in a flat sandal form that goes up to my size. That would be so hot with casual wear, a big *** crystal on your foot.

While we're on the topic of shoes and Chanel, they have an "elephant heel" shoe, they're atrocious, and there's not like one or two featuring the elephant heel most of the collection is comprised of this heel style. The only pictures are on Chanel.com but it's flash so I can't post them here.

Here they are from afar, but up close there is a little crystal for an eye.

I was just looking on Chanel.com, they do have the flat version of those sandals just without the crystal.
