Well… congrats to Mona, I guess… sigh.
I have a bad feeling this is shot by I&V lol.

Very familiar to Michael Kors by I&V from some past season, but I say that in a bad way and the model doesn't help, Mona looks like Oruam (a Brazilian rapper). I hope MB completely revamps Chanel, with new names and photographers. The brand hasn't had a truly good campaign in ages!

Am I only one that finds her to be kinda blah? I get she was the it girl a few years ago but out of all of out there I’ve never really found her that interesting. Not taking away from her beauty which she is beautiful but as a model she lacks what others pack punch with.

I can’t believe that after 30 years of Karl doing campaign, photographers who since 2019 had opportunities to finally shoot Chanel campaigns (which even in the beauty side was reserved to very few photographers) dare to release such trash.

Even Karl’s campaign in the street like the Diane Kruger one for the Paris Biarritz bags was superior to this.

Thank god for the hobo bag, because it’s only thing working here. Photography, model’s attitude and styling are terrible!

Whats weird is that it looks like they Closed the Street for her to run around alone.

Would be much better if there were Background people....It's like shes breaking her COVID Curfew.

The styling is atrocious...the hat, the gloves???

Is this the first time Chanel has featured a a trendy unoriginal bag so prominently in a main season campaign? Those long andiamo top handle clutches were popular a year and a half ago.

I'm so used to seeing brands doing their version of a Chanel bag, but seeing Chanel do their version of someone else's bag is unsettling.

According to 10 magazine, the campaign was shot by Mikael Jansson.

Mikael Jansson, indeed. These days, saying your work looks like Inez & Vinoodh's is hardly a compliment.
I hope MB can at least shake up the in-house art direction at Chanel—they've been doing a terrible job lately.

I don’t think Mona is a Chanel “girl” at all, and I’m honestly taken aback by her mediocre posing skills. She’s not exactly a newbie. Nothing about this campaign works TBH.

It looks very fast fashion to me. I can already hear stylists and photographers saying how they want to loosen up Chanel, but the only thing they’re achieving is this weird camp prestige less image.

It’s so sad to see where fashion is at the moment… it looks like AI made the campaign.

So lifeless, uninspired, generic… lacks soul, charm, vision, class.

My relationship with fashion is like when people have an ex that they really loved, but after some time being together they realize he’s actually a sh!t. At the same time, they still remember the good old days and kind of have the hope that’s it’s going to be magical again, but it never is. Sometimes they have a good date (still not as good as the first ones), but the next day it’s sh!t again.

Yeah, I agree with you. You have around many girls which are overrated like Mona, Vittoria, Selena, Julia Nobis (the most overrated model in history), Kate Moss.

You mean something like this...?
