I know in his mind he's making some 1920s drop waists but in execution it fits more like a filthy old tshirt you got years ago at some volunteering event. It's drop waist not drop crotch..

What's the theme here? It's just a mishmash of decent offerings. That said, having no theme at Chanel is still better than having a theme-y Dior.

Seems like a fairly safe continuation of his previous collections, but I can see his Chanel becoming more coherent/identifiable. I think the thing that will be most polarizing is his use of colour, which—funnily enough—seems to be his most significant takeaway from his time with Phoebe Philo.

This is what baffles me about Blazy—on one hand we get a gorgeous dress, and on the other it's something that makes the model look like she got caught on the toilet.
