I am not trying to dwell, but this is so bittersweet. Chanel is right there, holding her own, she belongs, but it is so sad that she is the only Black girl there. Again, not trying to dwell, but WOW. A cast of eight girls, and two are minority.
 
Crakkk....I know what you mean, but I think we should be glad that they managed to put at least a black girl at all! Especially the way the industry has been lately! Im so glad it was Chanel ....Love to see her with other girls, they are missing a Latin girl in there...Im still waiting for a Fierce Latin Girl to come and take the industry by storm, especially a Mexican one.
 
I've actually never seen a VS pink ad. But folks mentioned that it has something to do with PJ's :huh:.... it's not exactly what I have in mind for Chanel but we'll see how it turns out.

I'm actually quite surprised that there's not only one but 2 ethnic models in that line up. It looks like the Gap cast their models themselves because if it were up to Inez & Vinoodh....i don't think either Chanel or Du would have been in this campaign :lol:
 
One thing I've personally always loved about Chanel is her lips; so puffy, cute, and natural; however, I don't think Iman's lips are too thick - I think celebrities like Angelina Jolie (while some speculate that her lips are real) have gone too far with collagen.

Kinda...:lol::ninja:. Are you guys able to spot Chanel anywhere (in pictures and stuff) even before the face is revealed. Like if there is a line up and you can only see the tops of their heads....I can totally spot Chanel....I duno why:o

Miss IMAN, ROTFLOL. You better work, giving me a bit of DIVA shade. She was too over FTV. I wish they did not make her direct Hanne and Marg like that, it made it look as if the girls were illiterate, and Chanel like some dictator of sorts.

FYI, On the April issue of Vogue, in the Letter to the Editor someone left a comment about Chanel ...all praise and how they should include her more often....LOL I thought it was wierd because I've never really seen a comment made about a particular model in that section. So I was fairly surprised when I saw it there...And NO it was not me who sent it!!! Although I should start:lol:...Hopefully Ms. Wintour will take notice and take her into consideration more often!:flower: Thoughts?
 
i think she was sleepy...i got a tired feeling from her..like i was waiting for her to yawn..idk
