Im saying how Jourdan is more relavent right now....or at least more so than Chanel. You cannot deny that Jou is the SH**T right now.She is all that and a bag of chips. And unfortunately only one black girl can get most of the shine. How I would of loved to see Sess do Calvin, Georgie get Prada, Chanel get Versace. I love Jourdan soooo much, I just wish more than one black girl get some shine. That is all No shadyness for Jou.

I think everyone is aware of that by now ...and good for her. She deserves it. It's better to have one prominent black model than having none at all.

People get so protective over their favorite black models. Let's not pretend like any of them are really prominent. Still waiting on one of them to book a major campaign. Just one.......well, one of them does have a major cosmetic contract, but I'm talking for a major fashion house.

I think, Chanel will be the first to do so, if not Arlenis for ODL.

I think it's important not to sleep on Chanel though. She's been doing big things a lot longer than her black counterparts. Chanel was money in the bank along time ago, she didn't need a "Black Vogue" to launch her to elite status, she was already there, she remains there.

I have to admit I get alittle annoyed when people try to turn black models against each (whether their aware of what their doing or not) by saying one is outshining the other or the new 'token' black model. People really have been sleeping on Chanel ever since she came onto the fashion scene and look how far she's come since then. If Chanel is front row at a fashion show instead of walking that fashion show people freak out and say her career is over. Its use to make me lol, but now its just annoying and unecessary.
