Is anyone else dissapointed that Chanel is probably not going to make the US Vogue Model issue? I know I am.
1 and foremost Anna Wintour needs to learn that its US Vogue.........., not French, Italian, Brazilian, Russian Etc...the least she could do is put 1 American model on there.....Where is Chanel? Ali M? Karlie? Ali S? Heidi? Hilary? etc?
2 Why does Miesel have to dominate the issue???? Miesel is genious but he is rediculous for not working with some amazing models Catherine M! Freja! Du Juan!Ali M!........The people at US VOGUE just need to stop.....!

Eh...i was hoping it was an only girl gig ...which means that she probably just did a "cover try" along with whom ever else is involved in that shoot.

Maybe it's for Vogue Paris?. Mert & Marcus are based in London and shot the last cover (March 09) out there in their studio's.

Assuming this is indeed for VP. Sims never shoots their covers. Must be either M&M, Demarchelier or Testino. I&V are allergic to black models

She's not black and they only shot her for the Givenchy campaign because Tisci likes her. They cast the editorials they shoot themselves and have never shot her for an editorial...same thing happened with Liya Kebede (they only used her a few times in her entire career). Unless the client stipulate they use an ethnic model they want in their magazines/campaign, they never work with them otherwise.

Chanel has worked with I&V on one occasion that I can remember. For the Gap designer shirt campaign. They did place her in the middle , if that means anything ...

Either way I'm excited for another cover!
