That VS shot is photoshopped beyond belief. Her mouth and behind look weird. She is really not a VS model... body-wise at least.

For most models, VS is obviously very desirable since they earn so much by doing a relatively easier type of modeling. But also, she has been complaining about not getting enough work from fashion companies as a model of color. Maybe she feels she has no other option to pursue.

It does look like she's been made to look "fuller"...her back and upper thighs look a little different

She did something for VS pink a few seasons ago and according to her twitter she has shot for them a few times. Despite her not being an obvious choice walking the show...i think she might do it this year...she mentioned in an interview that she couldn't make it last year due to age constraints. There have been models with her body type that have previously walked VS so i can't see why she couldn't. As far as complaining goes...every black model has publicly "complained" about being overlooked at one point in their career and she's not really lacking in other work as far as we know..she has a possible cover + 5 different eds coming up if all goes well and nothing gets pulled last minute.

i kinda of think that Chanel just grabs every "top-model" type opportunity that comes here way without being concerned about sequence ...

what i mean is its great she's a vogue regular but she is doing all the other milestones that make a top model such as House of Style, GG appearance, tyra appearances, VS, celebrity type interviews and these often come years later on in one's career when one is truly established as a high fashion type ... i just hope Sports Illustrated isnt going to be one of her career moves anytime soon because once you go SI its almost impossible to come back to high fashion without riddicule (save the stars such as Carolyn Murphy & Naomi)

Chanel is booking great work and has excellent momentum but can she channel the 90's supermodels who were able to go in between editorial & commercial jobs without being pigenholed or snubbed by the fashion crowd ...?? I hope so coz she's my faveourite of the new models and i hope she's around a lot longer ...!!!
