So far...

Here's my dream show list for Chanel:

Dior ^_^ - check!
Lanvin
Viktor & Rolf
Jean-Paul Gaultier
Karl Lagerfeld
Céline
Givenchy :woot: - check!!!
Stella McCartney
Kenzo
Yves Saint Laurent:heart: - check!!!
Chanel (duh!:p)
Chloé
Valentino
Elie Saab
Louis Vuitton
Hermès
Miu Miu

+ Akris & Galliano

Somehow I hope that her absensc has been a conscious decision to give her more time to shoot fabulous editorials and campaigns...

Yours and mine too :). Very surprised she wasn't at Valentino :(...I do have a feeling that many of these missed shows are her own decisions. I mean it's not unfathomable that Marie/Nicolas and the Valentino team dumped her...but she seems to have kept good relations with them in recent times.

She might be at Hermes and there's the slight possibility of LV, although she never seems to do the FW show. My dream is for her to do Miu Miu, she'd just suit the youthful, vibrancy of the brand. But yeah...she's never been a Marsh girl so whatever~.

My question to those who make a thing about Chanel's absence from this and that show, "Do you all think any of this is Chanel's fault?" What can she do to force her way into being placed at shows where we know the creative heads prefer...well...not to sound like a broken record, but you all know what I mean. I guess what I am trying to say is Chanel is doing what she has to do and doing it well. Ultimately, she can only walk shows where she is allowed.

I doubt that she'll be at Louis Vuitton or Miu Miu. She walked for Elie Saab before but she walked for Roberto Cavalli and Balenciaga and Versace and Burberry before, but she wasn't there this season. I think there's a maybe at Hermes but who knows. Sounds like she's down for the season though.

But just because she walked Givenchy this season, it definitely doesn't redeem her. She obviously doesn't care this season and that's fine. We'll just have to see what will happen next up for her in her career...

Yes...well see....once the competition starts heating up ( and it already it is).....then hopefully Chanel will get up and get back on track......hopefully it will not be to late.:innocent::rolleyes:

I think she does, she always seems to be very passionate about her work. She just wasn't getting booked this season, there's not much she can do about it. It certainly wasn't by choice she missed the big shows she's walked in before...only the big, established campaign girls have the luxury to do that.

She's done 19 shows so far across 4 cities :ninja:

Missed the Miu Miu show. But she wasn't there either, was she?:(

Of course not

I agree with this.

my fav look was from Bottega Venetta... i love the hair that's sleek, but full of body and the smoky eye and gorgeous earrings... i've saved it on my computer; when i try the look out, i hope i look half as good

I'm so happy she did well in Milan and Paris! Its odd that she was strongest in Milan which is notorious for all white runways. She still has those connections and relationships to keep herself on prestigious runways. Now lets pray these "friends" of hers give her some campaign shine this season!:rolleyes: Still surprised she did only one show in London and it was Aquascutum!?! I hear it was the same for Jourdan and Karlie.... could that mean a campaign?:D probly not:lol:

There are some major changes happening at Ford. I hope Chanel will be alright...but you never know. If her agent gets the chop (apparently, people are being fired at Ford right now)..she might follow him to which ever agency. I doubt she'd be dropped by the new management but nothing is impossible :ninja:.

It is almost unimaginable for a girl with a multi-year Victoria's Secret contract to get dropped! That's REAL money!!!! But yeah I wonder whats going on at Ford? She seems really close with Paulo (her agent). He is always with her at the shows and events!

Agreed, I seriously doubt that would happen. It'll be interesting to see how this all plays out though!
