Awww, when is Chacha going to get her chance. She's been criminally overlooked in the fashion industry and its so sad, like she's long overdue (her and Jourdan). No knock on Joan Smalls (who's just doing her thing), but I feel like Chanel and Jourdan have more than paid their dues and deserve more than the meagre peanuts they've been getting. Idk, it's just very saddening.

I hate to say it but with Chanel it could very well be her personality/attitude holding her back and for Jourdan, the young mother business. I love them both dearly but people sometimes don't want things like that to represent their brands and go for better alternatives.

i mean, she did walk VS, closed it...

We only want the very best for her and her career. So a few Vogue covers and blue-chip campaigns would be greatly deserved.

Yeah I want to agree with you but when you only have to go to the model behavior thread (when they aren't focused on bashing Chanel) and read some of the stories about some of the 'in' models, that reasoning crumbles. But whatever, I've been a fan of both girls (and several more) for a long, long time so it's just a bit disheartening, but slowly and steadily is always the best way to ascend to the top. Her Flare article mentioned she was being optioned for a beauty campaign, I wonder if it was EL or something else.

Btw, I had a rational response to Supermodel's post but based on their vehemently anti-Chanel posts in other threads, I figured I didn't need to waste my time.
