Chanel Iman

As if the dresses weren't bad enough...those cheap looking silver shoes are beyond hideous
She looks great, though.

I don't think there's anything wrong with she said about Galliano. Hilary Alexander and a few other journalists have been writing that he should be supported in getting help and have given him props for being a great designer.

^I get that. The reason why I said that is because people are ready to pounce on her for the smallest reasons, so when you have 33 pages dedicated to condemning John Galliano and she says something (even if it is not in his defense) that can be slightly misconstrued, they will jump on another reason to start hating on her all over again. Besides, it's like that event where she didn't want someone taping her shoes, you want all the focus to be on the VS bra not her or Galliano.

Exactly. Well said, Fey. In other news that hair, they got her looking like one of the Supremes

I agree....but I doubt that her haters will stop hating her....they will hate regardless. She could be silent for the rest of her career...and the haters would still hate...."so now Chanel thinks shes too good to talk now"....

Here are some gifs I made of Chanel from the Incredible commercial that was released yesterday

and one HQ pic from today's event

Victoria’s Secret Angels Wish “Cutie” Justin Bieber a “Happy Birthday!”
It’s not every day Justin Bieber turns 17! In honor of the occasion, OK! asked some special ladies for their thoughts and best wishes as the teen dream becomes a year older.

At the launch of Victoria’s Secret’s new “Incredible” line in NYC, some of the VS Angels wished the very best for Justin.

Chanel Iman told OK! that she is a big belieber!

“I am a huge fan!” Chanel confided, “I am the biggest Belieber out there, I feel like.”

“I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I’m looking forward to it. Only because I’ve been in Europe but as soon as I get back I’m going to see Never Say Never.”

Lily Aldridge (who is engaged to Kings Of Leon member Caleb Followill) shouted out her best thoughts, “Aww! Happy Birthday, Justin Bieber! Such a cutie.”

“I think he’s really sweet and he’s worked really hard,” she added. “I’m proud of his success.”

When told it was Justin’s birthday, Erin Heatherton kept it short and sweet saying, “Cool! Happy birthday!”

Candice Swanepoel, on the other hand had some choice words for the Bieb on this day.

“Well I used to be a fan, but I think he’s getting a little older, it’s going through that awkward stage that we all go through, but we’ll see what he comes out with next.”

Chanel Iman may pull a Justin Bieber and chop her hair. She was overheard telling friends at a Victoria's Secret in-store event for its new Incredible bra that she's over her long hair and loves short hair. The Victoria's Secret Angel said she wants a bob eventually, and if she didn't model she'd dye it crazy colors. But Iman will have to wait until after Paris fashion week, now under way, where she plans to bring two close girlfriends to "eat delicious food and do what girls do -- gossip, shop and go out."

^ We've been saying we've wanted to see her cut her hair for a while now...if it's done right it'll be SAGL.

I would die for a Britt Maren hair cute....or a Saskia/Ranya hair cut.....:woot:. But you know VS would have a B*** fit!

you guys were right her Galliano comment is being taken way out of context. Some websites including big ones like Huffingtonpost.com are making it look like she was defending him.
Hope this doesn't hurt her.

The fact that they use the word "defending" in the titles of the articles is enough to look bad. It's not like she said that what he said was okay, just that this isn't the man that she knows and supports. I think the best worded statement was on Micah Jesse.

John Galliano is one of my absolute favorite designers to work with. I’ve been working with him since I was 14 or 15 years old and the story is very sad to me because he is not that type of person at all. He is open to everyone…even if you look at his line-up [of models], he has a selection of different types of women from around the world, I wish the best for him.

Interestingly enough this is the first time I'm seeing this version. All the ones I've read today just quote her saying how great he is.
I think she was merely praising the Galliano she personally knows and not the one being portrayed in the news and with her hectic schedule i doubt she had seen that infamous video at the time she made that statement

Exactly she's been running around all over the place and it even took me a little bit to see the video so all of this was being said without really knowing the severity of things.

YOU GUYS!!!!

Watch that. She pretty much answers what we've all been wondering... I should not be so happy about this!!!!
