i am no stan but i like where her career is going, and i hope shes happy and im glad she still gets high fashion love, on occasion

I think we all should be at the point where we know that Chanel is focused toward her VS career but she still does SOME HF. In fact, we should be lucky that she still is doing some high fashion editorials. For spring/summer season she was featured in Vogue US, Vogue Italia and Vogue Brasil with a Elle UK feature/editorial and a cover/editorial from i-D. Also, doesn't she have the Nordstrom campaign coming up this fall as well as the Wonderland feature and the tweeted feature about her fragrance in Elle UK? I'm sure there's a couple more and from the tweet she last posted with the flowers, she probably is on another shoot (looking at the fake nails, which she probably doesn't where on a daily basis because she needs to be a blank canvas!)

This happens all the time.. And what also happens is that she proves us wrong all the time.

^ Saks Campaign but if there's a Nordstrom one too I'll take it! She's had a couple of misc shoots going on that like I said - we hear one thing and then never see anything again until the final product. Absolutely agree with everything you posted. I'm just sitting and waiting it out because I already know it is going to be something to smile through.

She doesn't need more of anything IMO, she's doing good where she's at. Sure a few people might want to see her in more editorials and doing more runway but she's young and enjoying herself and obviously getting paid

As for the list, it's inaccuracy was proven to me when a certain non-working model of color was the highest of her kind on the list for months with no print, a handful of mediocre runway shows and absolutely no campaigns. I'm good with Chanel not being on there.

I'm a Chanel fan and I don't think it's a good thing that she's no longer on the list. As much attention and angst that the MDC list gets on this forum there's no way you spin it as anything else. She's basically been doing VS and that's not enough to justify her being on the list epsecially when comparing to other VS models whose careers are trending upward.
