FIRST LOOK: CHANEL IMAN IN AMAZON'S FALL CAMPAIGN

Mega-model Chanel Iman looks sharp in Amazon's "Smart is Beautiful" fall fashion ads, shot by Matthew Rolston at Milk Studios in L.A. "The looks are classic, iconic, timeless, and smart," Amazon Fashion Creative Director Dennis Leggett told ELLE. "We wanted to feature ladylike dresses that represents the season." She sports a blue Tracy Reese number and a printed Vivienne Westwood frock. Her '60s-style, Jackie O-hair was done by Robert Vetica, and her makeup was taken care of by Collier Strong.

I mean.. She looks good, I guess. But she looks bored, Kate looks like she's trying too hard and Candice is just deer in the headlights. I love everyone in this picture, but this might be the worst shot of the whole spread.

It doesn't look like her to me in any of the pics. It's always great to see black models in any Vogue but I have to say these all-black girl edits are becoming cliche & still novel. (And I agree that Chanel is beyond them), I just wish the industry would allow more girls to follow in Joan Smalls' footsteps and book quality jobs irrespective of her skin color.
