Chanel Iman

Is her hiatus in fashion over? She just shot with Jessica Stam with Michel Comte for Vogue Italia.

Yas mami has been shooting; she also shot for Harper's Bazaar (possibly Kazakhstan due to the photographer and stylist working together on previous covers or maybe another international magazine) and D'Scene Magazine and L'Officiel a couple months ago.

She shot something the day after the Harper's Bazaar shoot with Renee Garnes (who was her makeup artist on the shoot) but I'm uncertain if it was a continuation of her previous shoot the day before.

I'm so excited it feels like 2008-2011! again when she was getting editorials throughout the year! I think her runway presence at Moschino attributes to this. Hopefully we get to see her at the spring shows in September! Also, I'm waiting for another feature in Vogue, Anna!

Mizani’s #FreedomToStyle Campaign 2016

CHANEL IMAN | Model, Actress & Philanthropist

An internationally renowned supermodel, Chanel Iman’s career skyrocketed after making her runway debut in 2006. She works with several charities including the HerShe Foundation for teen girls in foster care, the Kalou Foundation for less fortunate individuals suffering from illness or disability, and more. Chanel made her film debut in the 2016 film, Dope, which garnered rave reviews at the Sundance Film Festival. “Hair is so important when it comes to being on a movie set because it brings a character to life,” Chanel says. “I love everything about changing my look, from extensions to natural hair. I also love wearing my hair really curly or really straight.”

Mizani is taking its #FreedomToStyle campaign to the next level with the introduction of new style icons Chanel Iman, Maria Borges, Grace Mahary and Heidy De la Rosa.

These four dynamic and inspiring women express their personalities through their hairstyles, and demonstrate how hair texture can be styled in a variety of ways to suit moods and occasions. Each style icon has a unique story that reflects the #FreedomToStyle campaign, styled by Mizani Global Artistic Director César Ramirez. The looks he creates go beyond reflecting their individual styles by showcasing a range of styling options to suit the various roles they play.

“The world of texture and embracing your texture is ever-growing,” Ramirez says. “We allow everyone to express themselves while maintaining the natural health of their hair.”

Dedicated to providing a precise balance of protein and moisture, the Mizani Haircare and Styling Collections, including new star products HD Shyne and Foam Wrap, use natural ingredients to nourish hair from within. Mizani also help every stylist and client find the perfect product regimen through its Natural Curl Key, which provides an easy at-a-glance diagnostic for identifying your curl type.
