i think the problem isn't that she can't make it into the industry at a young age, it's that she did make it into the industry at a young age. she has a very childish look. when she gets older, most likely, she has no room to evolve. look at her. what got her this big is because of how she looks right now. and how she looks right now isn't going to last...

I disagree. Chanel will evolve and continue to get jobs, she looks very unique, IMO, plus there are hardly any black woman in the industry. I personally think that the fashion world feel less threatened by Chanel, then say a DARKER skinned Black model, so she isnt going anywhere.

Look at Gemma. She no longer looks like the CHILDISH BABY DOLL we all have grown to love, but she is still achieving mass success.

i think her face looks mature enouogh. i think being half-asian causes people to thin kshe looks younger than she is---asians often appear to be baby-faced---so this look may last.

my mum is part chinese, so she is mistaken for acollege student regularly---due to her button nose, full cheeks, and youthful complexion.
