Chanel Iman

She looks Amazing for Vogue Russia! She's really starting to blossom as a model!

I think her face can hold make up it just has to be one or the other....for example at Jeremy Scott (look at Avatar)...the lips were bright red and the eyes didn't look too busy...and she looked gorgeous. And at Polini the eyes had alot going on but the lips were neutral and she managed to look gorgeous as well..<3 . I think maybe @ the colors dont compliment her skin color as well...u cant use the same shade on every girl because it just does not work...especially for a girl of color....but overall Chanel looks gorgeous. And im happy for her....plenty of editorials....plenty of advertisements....a covers....plenty of shows....I feel like a proud parent ....jejeje:lol::flower:

What I think is that the people tend to use too much makeup on Chanel. Her face does not need the excessive amount. I dont know, Im not expert on makeup. It might just be as you all are saying, the color of her skin and the specific color of makeup (whether it be her lip, her cheek, whatever).

The Russian Vogue scans, Chanel, wow. I like when her face takes on that serious, very fierce expression. It translates well in the editorials. That first gown, with the parakeet coloring, she looks OVAH. She is learning people, she is definitely learning.

 DIOR-VALENTINO AND JEAN-PAUL GAULTIER. bravo Chanel. I can't wait to see the all "Vogue Russia" editorial.

Whoever styled those Vogue Russia pictures needs to throw in the towel. Russian vogue may be camper and gaudy and tacky to the max but it's done with flair and quirk. Taking an already young looking model and making her look like she fell into mommy's closet was a terrible move.
Something about her face drives me up the wall when it comes to editorials. Runway is fine but her expressions and movement when it comes to high fashion print just seems so copped like she's just not quite able to hit the mark.
I personally look for beauty and art in the creativity behind a photograph when I open a magazine. When I see her I just see Chanel Iman. A model who doesn't transform on a very wide range.

I don't really like the Russian Vogue pictures that have been posted. Coming from Tanya D. thread and seeing her editorial for this months Russian Vogue. Chanel just looks bland and like there's nothing special about her.

I dont know. I never go in another model's thread and talk about how much I dislike them or their work, why is it OK when you all do it to Chanel?

I want to see the rest of the pictures...I was able to see another picture from the edit...on the Union Models (Chanels London Agency) website...and it looked far better than the ones previously posted.

Christian Dior HC SS08 (HQ).

She still looks fierce while she's pulling her dress up :heart:

Chanel is just not for everyone....but I <3 how not as many people come and hate overhere anymore...which is a good thing...lol.....I guess people find a girl like Karlie Kloss more interesting..... In the Teen Vogue Video both Ali and Karlie looked uninterested, bored and Chanel looked excited and very into the shoot...but i guess people find that anoying:innocent:

i don't understand the dislike towards chanel either.

i also believe her modeling has come a long way.

and speaking of her angencies, I know she's with ford, and I guess thanks to Gaultier Bandit I also know she's with Union, is she with any others?
