i'm not going to lie. it kinda ticks me off that jordann has a cover and chanel doesn't. their careers are about equal.

I don't think you can really compare careers, or should I say that you shouldn't compare careers. Chanel has a certain look and Jourdan's look is a bit more edgier than Chanel. They have two different looks and that would put them in two different directions. Its like comparing a lingerie model to a high fashion one.

Jourdan is on the fold out.

I really don't see the point of being on a fold out of Vogue Italia. Maybe that's just me.

They're even now. Chanel was on the US Vogue fold out
And Jourdan deserves this debut as her first "cover".

She's been neglected long enough in terms of print work while Chanel has appeared in alot of magazines.

You really cant compare the careers of Jourdan and Chanel, I guess that is subjective though. Chanel is my favourite model, period. The girl WORKS. I love the editorial with her and Jourdan, but it is clear, Chanel is the better of the two in terms of performance. I am not saying that Jourdan doesnt love being a model, but when it comes to print, she hardly serves. Chanel on the other hand gives it her all. She deserved the Italia cover, this is ridiculous.

No shade, Chanel has the more commercial look, very JC Penney, yet enough of a facial bone structure to be considered high fashion. Plus, her body is unbelievable. Jourdan reminds me of a Snejana, a Natasha Poly, she is conventional, Eurocentric features encased in beautiful, milk chocolate skin.
