Ms. Iman better work. LOL@ the first pose. Grin and KI, feel it Ms. Iman. Show Ms. Rocha how to serve it.

To tell the truth I do not think Karl cares for Black girls much. Yes, he used Jourdan for his Cruise collection, but I do not know when the last time was he used a Black girl for his RTW Chanel line, or even his brand. When? If they aren't super ethnic, Karl is not interested. Chanel has black features, but her skin colour tells the story of her Korean admixture. If she was an Alek Wek tone, he would have cast her eons ago. Let us be truthful here.

^^^Spoke too fast. I did see Sessilee at Karl Lagerfeld this season, also Fendi, still, I hold firm to the possibility that Karl does not care for Black girls. It is truly unfortunate. His shows would receive such a nice jouj of spice if he cast Chanel, Jourdan, Sessilee, Arlenis, Hollis, Kinee consistently, I could just imagine.

Surprisingly, neither Jourdan or Sessilee were at Chanel this morning either.
There was a time when Alek, Liya, Mimi and Yasmin all appeared at all of his shows.

OK!! I did not know about Mimi and Yasmin appearing at his shows. I don't know. I just don't see anything more beautiful about the White models that he always uses for his shows that would warrant their continual usage in his shows versus the minimal usage of the black model.

i'm really impressed by her loewe photos...this is the perfect example of a model making clothes even more desirable by her attitude and poses

Damn, no Chanel @ Chanel.......i wonder if she will ever get to walk that runway...not even lopez waked for Chanel :(

I knew Sessilee wouldnt walk Chanel...she has a really strong/womanly look that is great for Fendi and Lagerfeld...but Chanel has an aesthetic that is more youth driven and more soft/femenine/girly/cute. And its probably Viva agents keeping Chanel from Karl. For example in Alek's book she says that her agents were really skeptic of presenting her to Karl.If it were up to them she would of never done Chanel. She had to disobey them in order to be seen by Karl!
Chanel was so not diverse....not even an asian girl in the lineup

^Me too, I'm kinda bummed that Chanel wasn't at Chanel. Oh well. Next time. :(

Karl Lagerfeld could be very c*nty when choosing the girls for Chanel. He's so random with his selections. He used Jourdan in the Chanel Cruise 09 collection(I was surprised) and now Sessilee for FENDI & KARL LAGERFELD(I was surprised again). You just never know what his skinny *** will do next .

With all the catwalk queens squeezing into YSL's front row at the Grand Palais tonight, one had to wonder if there would be enough models left over to, well, model in the actual show. From Lily Donaldson and Audrey Marnay, who arrived and took their seats fashionably late (after the first look came out) to Claudia Schiffer and current YSL campaign girl Naomi Campbell, who flanked famed photographer Mario Testino, the supers were out in full force. So what was their response when their counterparts took to the runway? Naomi Campbell for one wasn't afraid to play favorites. She hooted and hollered for Chanel Iman.

Dead @ Omi getting too excited for Chanel

Jourdan & Chanel breaking boundaries
The question on everyone’s lips since Vogue Italia released its all black issue back in July has been, “Will it actually make a difference?”

Well, at London Fashion Week there were more black models walking the runway than previous seasons for sure and in Milan Chanel Iman became the first black model to walk for Gucci since Tom Ford’s glorious days ended in 2005.

This month Jourdan Dunn breaks some boundaries of her own to become the first black model to land the cover of Vogue UK since Naomi Campbell graced its cover in 2002.

But Jourdan’s not alone. She shares the spotlight with Eden Clark and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

Now if Jourdan had the cover all to herself that really would have been may-jah! We’re guessing Vogue didn’t want to push the boundaries that far….

It would have been a whole lot sweeter if Jourdan had her own solo cover! So happy these two young ladies are breaking boundaries. Sad after Tom Ford died Gucci stopped having black model represent their clothing! Naomi is truely a legend....period! I would LOVE to see a group shot of successful black 'it' models today on the cover of Bazaar, Vogue or maybe even Vanity Fair again! That is the only real disapointment I had with the Vogue It. issue. Don't see why its taken so long for black models in particular to gain the recognition they truely deserve!:censored: Milan and Paris still fail when it comes to having deversity on the runways and in ad campaigns.
