I really don't understand the comment about her missing a few days for a shoot.. whenever models or their agents claim this, it seems to be that they actually just didn't book any shows that day... all the stylists and editors are at the shows.. so whos shooting at the same time? Also, the fittings for shows are the day or two before..if a model can't do a fitting, they can't put her in the show.

That could be possible, if two of the shows she missed werent Anna Sui and Oscar De La Renta. Chanel has been a staple at both of those shows for seasons, I don't see why she wouldn't book them now at the pinacle of her career.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if any new editorials surface in the next couple of months

You know you could be right. But she has been doing ODLR and Anna Sui since she started. And why would Chanel lie about shoots. There is no need to lie. For example in Paris she didn't do shows for a day (which included one of her staples JPG) and instead of making up shoots, she just didn't post anything on her style.com blog. If she didn't book anything than she probably wouldn't of posted anything at all. But only time will tell.

And about her missing JPG. I was thinking she was booked for the day for Loewe to do that photoshoot. Just my opinion on what happened, because the pictures surfaced the day after really early. And Hye didn't do any shows that day either.

Models pull out of fashion week to do shoots all the time, it's common practice. Not every editor, stylist and photographer is at the shows...especially not in NY. Many of them just attend the most prominent ones like CK and Marc Jacobs.
I don't think Chanel was cast to do ODLR or Anna Sui...NY was all over Arlenis and Jourdan's prominence rose which meant that someone had to take a step back ....i don't think she wouldn't have booked a single show for 2 whole days so she did have something else lined up for her.

She did so much better in Europe, though. In a season where so many girls have faded she has done exceptionally well since she didn't have enough exposure editorially as many other girls.
