love chanel ... i visit this page several times a week but this is the first ive commented ...
i think her ambition and sheer love of fashion & modeling is why she has come so far in her career. im amazed that her mixing with many non-fashion types, tv apperances & at all the celeb parties has not lowered anna wintour's estimation & use of her in the magazine/met ball attendance ... if i was an advisor to chanel i would've advise her to keep low key on the celeb circut (including twitter updates) so she can keep up that elusive quality that makes all the high-fashion types so intriguing and unapproachable (and therefore bookable & desirable for all the blue chip campaigns/major edits)... however i guess in chanel's eyes, she probably realises that these days in fashion you may only be in fashionable for a few years if that, and she is just enjoying being young (i mean, come on, if you were a normal teenager, going out with a rapper & hanging with kim k just might be your idea of fun!! not mine, but maybe for a teen) and leveraging all the opportunities you modelling can give you ... look at caroline riberio, amy lemmons & a host of others who have dissappeared from the scene or end up doing banana republic or anne taylor type work ... the other extreme of course is kylie bax ...
... i think chanel's amazing and has had excellent forward traction in her career, she really does go from strength to strength ... sure some seasons maybe slower than others, but the general direction of her career is positive and steady ... yes she may not be moving as fast & as wide as jourdan but these days the modelling game is all about longevity and although i wouldnt manage (in terms of what i would allow the public to percieve me) her career in the way she has, it doesnt seem to have hurt her as much as i would've thought. she really does seem to be enjoying the best of both worlds ... good luck Chanel and pls dont do a beverly p or brandi q on us ... amazing models who got more opportunities than chanel but didnt have the forsight to finish well ... although best wishes to brandi q's comeback ...
, she goes from totally funky like above to very chic and polished like in that white dress at the St Judes benefit, and always looks gorgeous
....LoL.....Chanel needs to uninvite her....she needs to stop hanging around these fame whOres.......it makes her look like one too.
