she is looking hot in those VS pics! honestly, with her face and her popularity and general personality -- i can see Chanel becoming a really big personality for VS. in a couple of years, when her body matures just a bit, i think she'd be a great choice for an Angel. and i'm pretty sure that she'd jump at the chance.

she would be a perfect VS model but in my opinion she should use her changes in the HF world. she can do VS in a few years when shes getting older. I just love her doing high fashion shows she souldnt change the way (now)..

As far as Chanel following in Tyra Banks' footsteps, I encourage it. High fashion is NOT the most secure lane for Black models, and though things have changed, they have not changed enough. At least with Victoria's Secret, Chanel will be bringing in a steady and reliable check.

^She is worth so much more than that. She could be the greatest black model since Beverly Johnson if she wanted to (excepting Naomi who is a special case, being a bona fide supermodel of the supermodel era). VS now is not the right path. She has years of HF left in her, unlike Tyra at her age. Plus she just has grace, face, limbs....(I could go on)....that Tyra never had. So I'm hoping they're misquoting her in V, or, as is more likely, wanting to create a bad buzz around Ford's star

That said....I can't blame her for trying to connect with the latest black American supermodel. As far as I know there have just been three (Tyra, Beverly P and Beverly J). Just wish she could tone it down for the sake of her HF career.
