Chanel Iman

in my opinion they all make the photo. regardless of whoever you think 'stole' the spotlight, each of the girls adds something to the overall shot and i just think they equally did a great job.

Ashley Olsen look kind of like Kurt Cobain now. Anna Wintour is so phoney lol! Chanel looks beautiful as usual!

Love that clip! Can't wait to see the complete editorial! Can someone make a gif of them all together winking at the camera?

She is rocking in that ed...no doubt one of my favourites of her this year, just wish she would've said more in the article :)

They all complement each other so well! That edorial is one of the best I've ever seen! Thank you so much for posting those Northern Star!

I'm a little confused as to why CHanel wanted she and the girls to be referred to as "ethnic," rather than "Black." Can someone explain? I like Chanel, down, but I just didn't get that bit.

^ Well since the term 'black' is usually used to describe people who are African-American, and since Chanel is mixed I understand why she would like to be called that. I usually don't refer to myself as being black, but I guess it would take up too much space to type in the word African-American or Caucasian lol.

She was refering to non-white models as a whole and that it's not just black models that have it hard in the industry. She mentioned in her New York Magazine interview earlier in the year that Asian and Hispanic models were not getting the same oppurtunities aswell and that they were all on the same boat. She's speaking up for all the ethnic girls (regardless of what their background might be) and she's not making out that it's just black models that are getting overlooked.
