Oh my. The other girls (Candice, Rosie, Lindsay and Emanuela) have no chance at all at the kind of HF stuff Chanel pulls off with ease. If she can manage both VS and the kind of HF runway work that she incidentally might have the most perfect body for out of all the models (well, Chanel and Karlie Kloss), then this is fantastic.

For the people who admire Chanels work as a model/muse, lets hope she keeps the HF up. Because VS is fun and, of course, brings in a lot of money, but I would hate if all I got to see of Chanel Iman in her prime was those silly lingerie shots.

I don't want Chanel on VS TBQH. Her market is more of the high fashion than Victoria's Secret. Good luck to her. I hope she books jobs(Vogue, Fashion weeks) after VS.

If there is no demand for her to walk shows than she obviously won't do them. She will probably do fashion week provided that she actually wants to to as i can't see her body changing in the next few years. I imagine she's getting paid incredibly well for this. Sometimes, girls get lazy and stop doing shows all together when they know they don't have to do them.

To put it really simply, her body is HF and her mind is commercial. She says things that are just not cool at all. But they strike a chord with some kids. She's honest and she's assertive.

I don't like the idea of her being a VS Angel. I don't think she has the body type for it because I buy bras from VS and as a customer, I'd prefer it if the face of the company had boobs... I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but its the truth. And, she's just not appealing to me as a customer. Adriana, Doutzen, they make me want to buy the bras, but some 5'11 twig really doesn't, but that's just my opinion. And, being a VS angel used to be prestigious, back when it was Gisele, Heidi, Tyra, and Adriana... now, they sign anyone and you can basically predict who they're going to sign from looking at the catalogues, but congrats to her anywayss.

I see where you're coming from but to be fair, you should first see her as a true VS Angel and her work both on print and in the runway as a VS Angel and then judge. I mean, we haven't exactly seen all that work from her related to VS.

A part of me would die if HF Chanel is over...I still want her to do a lot more in terms of covers/ads, however I read something recently that made it seem that she was very driven to do all facets of modelling...hopefully if give her support here she'll go for it

Uhm. I did not mean cool as in "inappropriate, vile, disgusting". What I meant is that her general demeanor when talking is far from aloof, refined, cool and composed. That's all I mean. Nothing is really wrong, except her very honest "I, I, I, me, me, me" - which is what most teens think in one way or another, and I find her assertiveness very natural.

She's a California teen and she does not hide it. It's fine, but it's not very HF. In fact, the fact that she doesn't hide it makes her different, and that might turn out to be her biggest asset.

Well wasn't the interview about her???? So it is only expected for her to be saying I I I and me me me? Sometimes I feel people are just knit picking at chanel and just waiting at the edge of their seat for her to say or do something wrong in order to star hating on her. They just need to let it go....she obv not going any where, if you don't like her just let her be and keep it moving, because she honestly not paying attention to any of her haters! I cannot wait for Chanel to STRUT down that runway!!!

The VS angel gig might just be the beginning of a lucrative career for Ms. Chanel... I can definately see Cover girl contract in her future or some cosmetic contract... she just have that kind of appeal. I feel that she can sell to young girls and her star is rising in general...

I do hope she continues with HF modeling for a few more years though...
