Solange Knowles and Chanel Iman were among the few celebrities that attended an intimate fundraising dinner for President Barack Obama, hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker in New York.

The high-profile guest-list dinner was held at the Sex And The City actresses' deluxe apartment in Manhattan in aid of raising funds for Barack's re-election campaign.

Solange maximised her fashion credentials, wearing a cream vintage dress with a white blazer, while her BFF Chanel rocked a mustard-coloured shift dress that accentuated her slim frame.

Numerous celebrities attended the $40,000 per head bash, including Vogue editor Anna Wintour and actress Meryl Streep and showed their support in raising morale and funds for Barack's last Whit House run.
