Chanel Iman

Sorry but I dislike this look entirely. This only place this combo might look good is in a Steven Klein fashion ed but in real life, it appears pretentious and forced. Not to mention she looks like a robot. Lately, I'm starting to think that she needs a stylist.

She's just wearing a crazy, eclectic outfit to a music festival where people are known to wear crazy, eclectic outfits. Its not that deep.

^^ I agree think she looks dumb, Chanel has never had much style though. Although her outfits lately have been nice :)

I think her look would be a little bit more severe to be shot by Steven Klein. (Btw has she ever shot with him? Lol)

I think its the epitome of her style; NY meets LA, minimals with cuts that show a little cleavage mixed with her ripped Cali gurl denim white washed jean shorts. And she always wins with her shoe game. Her legs are a beaut to see.

I've seen worst, just s a y i n g

Are you guys serious. Its coachella; the outfits that parade around there are far worse. Style is really subjective. I mean, Hanne and her crew went around wearing war paint (on their faces), African style shoulder/neck plates, and bandanas (a la Tupac). And some people SWEAR they are the third coming of Jesus. Chanel looks great. She really is the epitome of that Eastcoast-meets-Westcoast girl. Chanel does not really have a defined style, but when she gets it right...boy does she get it right! (That RED Michael Kors comes to mind)

Ps. She has shot with Klein several times.

labelwhore once again you hit the nail right on the head:judge:.. personally, i think she looks laid back & cool-_-

I agree with y'all that its a music festival but this is trying too hard to come off as effortless cool when imo it kinda failed. Most Coachella attendees have way less money and look cooler & less contrived than this. A couple of Coachella outfits from last year looked equally forced and cliche in my opinion and I think a stylist might help when she tries to do festival cool (which is supposed to look like you haven't tried!)

I love Chanel, always have. She's young, cool, fresh, dope regardless but I just think this particular look is trying too hard. And I agree its Coachella, you can. I'm not saying its the end of the world or her. Just saying too ... :)

Just read TFS Buzz article on Kate Bosworth & Diane Kruger which makes me think most rich, famous people (sans people that actually live it - Kate Moss & Abbey Lee types) just might not be able to pull off the Festival look as effortlessly as those that don't have to try. And I admit compared to Kruger, I like Chanel's effort better.

^ Her best editorial in ages :buzz:. I love the Fendi, Burberry and Miu Miu shot most of all. Her body looks banging to top it all off.

Her and them legs DID THAT! She knows that she's looking good, and her confidence is magnetic. I'm very happy and proud. :D

Fierce ed!! Love it.

From the catwalk to the parterre, Chanel Iman shows off her it girl style at the Coachella, and opens up the Festival’s looks season

From the Coachella fashion week, Chanel Iman is always focusing on style.

Coachella is the en plein air red carpet of the American influencers: from the protagonists of the live shows on the stages, to the celebs that rush up to the festival of Indio and show off some festival looks, that will dictate the trend for the whole 2013 spring/summer season.

Chanel Iman certainly is one of the festival’s it girls that is now livening up the valley. The model made herself being noticed with a look half way between country and grunge, that included a wide-brimmed hat, a white cut-out top, a pair of shorts with worn-out effect, and graphic sandals by Alexander Wang. She’s original, sexy and very casual, matching the other looks that are showing up at the festival; they are connected by their eclecticism, and by a mandatory off-duty tone, in order to stand the numerous live hours under the hot Californian sun. This mood has been pre-announced on the catwalks by the designers, that reaffirm the strong link between street trends and high fashion.
