Well the one you saw was probably fake, but they do the chanel cambon bags now with python logo which isnt fake

i believe it's only done in in white and a khaki/army green color.

I have the black with black CC's, it's a beautiful bag. Fairly delicate as it's lambskin. They had the beige on sale... 30% off last night at NM. I think the 30% sale is still on at MN, Saks & Chanel boutiques for a few days. If you call around you will probably find one and if you buy it from Saks or NM the return policy is good for at least 30 days.

Looking back through this forum it seems I was incorrect on the Cambon bags being lambskin.... they are calfskin. They feel so soft I assumed it was lamb.
Yesterday I bought the large beige tote. They only had beige & pink on sale in the Cambon with the exception of one black & gray in a large square travel type bag that was gorgeous... but I had to stop myself from purchasing two bags!

Roey, I have had my Cambon for a year and a half and there's not a single scratch on it.

^^Roey... my experience is the same as Lily's, after over a year my bag is looking perfect. It's a black reporter so you might have to be more careful about getting the beige dirty. I would consider a protecting spray but I don't know what to suggest with the light leather. On most leathers I use Apple Garde but it goes on wet so maybe ask around and see if people use Vectra on the light Chanel leather.. or Shining Monkey.

In case anyone is interested the beige and pink cambon bags have gone on sale here in Hawaii. My SA said that its only on sale in HI, so in case anyone wanted to get one of those it may be worth giving the HI boutiques a call. I believe the large reporter was down to $2300 or so.

Thanks Pinky and Lily. I received my Multipocket yesterday - beige w/black - and I love it!! It looks very durable and I'm going to try my very best not to mark it up. The leather is much different than I pictured - not as delicate as I envisioned.

I am now looking into buying the black bowler with black patent logo!
