This is the "sequel" of sorts to "Black Satin," black with marine blue undertones.

Sold out across the country already (it came out Dec. 8), my Macy's had ONE bottle left and it's mine. :)

cool - looks like an awesome color.

Congrats on the great find, Skirt! Years ago, CHANEL had a similar color, "Ciel de Nuit," (Night Sky) that was a blue/black/silver. Much to my surprise, I still have mine! Here's some pics (sorry the bottle is so beat up!):

I don't think she's bragging. Just sharing. I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Thank you!

That's a beautiful color, it does look a lot alike! And hey, a beat-up bottle is just a sign of loving it too much.

So it's more blue-black?

That's my understanding. "Black Satin," when it hits the light, looks more like a really, really, dark gray. I'm guessing "Noir Ceramic" is going to look more like a really deep blue-black, as it's supposed to be a sister color to "Black Satin."

I´s pretty, but the first thing i remembered was the similar colour they had years ago, as Hipkitten posted.

Maybe it´s my fault that i am not that young, but i´ve been wearing and paying attention to nail polish for more than 10 years, so nothing is really new to me! :p

...well, except for black nail polish becoming trendy for people who aren´t gothic... lol :D

ps- keep an eye on sephora´s own brand, they have an HUGE collection of nail polish colours, and there is one similar to the one posted. ;)

I have a few Sephora brand nail polishes but, for whatever reason, they are HELL on my nails. I've never had them crack so much!

 Nice come back! s'okay, you're entitled to brag when you score the LAST one!!!

^^ I was at the Chanel counter yesterday and didn't see it either but I'm not really a big fan of blue black.

Is it out in Canada yet? I went to the Chanel counter this afternoon and I didn't see it.

I don't know, I know it's pretty limited right now though - I heard a rumor that in some smaller cities it's only in the nearest Chanel boutique. Where I bought mine, it's the 3rd-largest high-end shopping district in the state of TX (behind Dallas & the Houston Shopping District).

Also, apparantly the French version has a lot less sparkle.

I just figure there's no reason to be nasty, we're all here for the same reason. :)

I'm not sure how I'll feel about it once I get around to putting it on, but I know I love Black Satin & Vamp, so I'm hoping this will be as great as they are. :)

the color is amazing..much better than black satin in my opinion

Oh I want to try this!
Haven't heard anything about this in the UK...maybe it's US only for now?
Either way, it looks like a great colour, any chance we can see pictures of it on your nails?

The day before I ordered my bottle, I'd JUST had a new manicure with Black Satin - but maybe by next week I'll go get another one, and then I'll post. :)
