Charlie France just may be our new obsession. Possessing one of the most arrestingly beautiful faces we’ve ever seen (so appropriate for a Botticelli painting), Charlie’s worked with some of the most exclusive clients around: Jil Sander, Burberry, Marc by Marc, Prada, Hugo Boss just to name a few. Even lovelier? Charlie is, as the French say “super génial” and of course is blessed with that wicked British coolness. In the video, he gives us a quick catchup of what he’s done in NY while waiting for Iceland’s volcano ash to clear up. (Special thanks to Models 1)

Charlie France, represented by Models 1 in the UK, was discovered on a very soggy summer day, scouted by the beach at Ripcurl Board Masters a surf and music festival, in Cornwall England. It had rained all weekend, the heavens had opened, then a glimmer of sunshine and there was Charlie!

Though he was scouted in Summer 2008 his college commitments meant he could not work until early 2009, Jil Sander was quick off the mark and booked him exclusively for their show in Milan in January 2009. The editorial bookings soon followed with Charlie booking AnotherMan with Kai Z Feng and bstore with Aitken Jolly.

Not long after Burberry believed him to be the epitome of English eccentricity and booked him to front their AW 09 Campaign alongside actress Emma Watson.

Hailing from Wolverhampton, Birmingham. He has just finished his A-Levels, and is planning to take a couple of years out to model then study Geology at university.

Charlie can currently be seen in numerous prestigious editorials since storming Paris and Milan in his first full season booking Burberry, Gianfranco Ferre, Gucci, Jil Sander, John Varvatos (Opened), Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Z Zegna, Ann Demeulemeester, Cerruti, Dior, Hermes (Opened), Kris Van Assche, Issey Miyake, Dunhill, Gaspard Yurkievich, Lanvin, Raf Simons and YSL.

We can safely say that Charlie will be a familiar face in fashion for years to come.
