Danish model Charlotte Hoyer has been modelling since 2008 after being scouted on a school trip.
Charlotte’s most recent Fashion Week season (SS14) saw her walk for an impressive 31 shows including DKNY, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Kenzo, Peter Som and Matthew Williamson.
She landed her first magazine cover aged 16 and her first major catwalk show – a Calvin Klein exclusive. Other editorial credits include Elle Denmark, 10 Magazine, Numero Tokyo, Vogue Russia, Flair, V Man, Russh and Teen Vogue.
She has also fronted campaigns for DKNY Jeans (FW09), Vivienne Westwood (FW09), Noir (FW09), Reiss (SS10) & Y-3 (FW10).

How were you scouted: On the streets of Copenhagen while on a school trip. I had not slept much for a week, and was wearing my mothers raincoat and pants on top of my winter jacket and sweatsuit, so it was truly a sharp eye from 2pm that saw the potential in me.
What’s your best feature: Probably my positivity towards other people.
Favourite beauty product: Lotion!
Hobbies: Since I’m traveling a lot I have narrowed it down to be my boyfriend, friends and family, so they get my full attention when there is time. Working out is also pretty essential to me though.
Fitness Regime: Variety. Doing different kinds of classes and workout routines keeps my body awake.
Favourite Movie: Many! But I guess movies like Pearl Harbor and Troy will always be on my top ten.
What was the last track you listened to on your iPod?: For my sisters birthday I celebrated to the 80′s hit “Let’s Groove” by Earth, Wind & Fire.
Do you have any Guilty Pleasures?: Bring me a nice bottle of wine and my pleasure is guilty as charged!
What is your biggest fear?: Losing the people close to me.
What is your dream country to visit?: The list is never ending, but among others I would love to go to New Zealand.
If you were not modeling, what would you be doing?: University
If you got to relive one day in your modeling career it would be…: My very first international fashion show as a Calvin Klein exclusive.
If you could be on the cover of any magazine, it would be: French Vogue
What’s the funniest thing that has happened to you on a shoot?: I once got chased off a location in the desert by a pretty feisty man with his riffle. (Well… It was funny afterwards at least.)
What’s your favorite fashion city and why?: New York because everything is moving so fast and people are not afraid to stand out and be creative.
Who are your idols?: Several of the people close to me. But especially my grandparents’ way of leaving me with a feeling of pure unconditional love, gives me such inspiration to pass it on to others.
What was the last dream you remember?: I was back in Denmark with my boyfriend (I’m in New York at the moment, and yes… I am a sucker for love)
