I think how her agency is running her career is partly responsible for the rut, if you can even call it that, she's in right now. I certainly don't think doing those ads for TJMaxx helped her one bit. A casting agent going through her books must get thrown off a bit by her disparate tearsheets...Ann Taylor, JCrew, Rugby, Macys......TJMaxx?

Ford NY is a great agency but I think Charo will do better if she cuts her hair and switch to another agency like what Tao Okamoto did

Ford used to be great but these days, it has become a mediocre agency, I think. They have a nice sized stable of great girls but you can count on one hand the number of A list models ruling the industry that count Ford as their mother ship. There's Chanel, there's Lakshmi and to a lesser extent, Kate and Hyoni. Camilla and Nataliya, past winners of their supermodel competition, have literally disappeared into thin air. Talk about lack of longevity.

I don't know if a drastic hair makeover will do the trick (she'd still be 5'8.5" with tao okamoto hair, wouldn't she?) but the good old agency switcheroo might be a risk worth taking. If she does switch, she has to trade up though.....she has to join a market leader like women, supreme or img. The $64 dollar question then would be.....is she worth taking on?

That's all I know of. Thanks for posting those video links.

I think she is pretty but not distinctive enough to stand out from the crops of Asian models out there. I follow Asian model trends all the time and I still get her confused with Sharina Gutierrez and Selina Khan.

Selina Khan reminds me of Charo too but Charo reminds me more of Ling, who was a successful model many years before.
