havent u guys noticed, eversince charo won 3rd place she never had a major makeover. her hair has just been long like that with the same color....she didnt even tried layering it, it has only been all with the same length.
Her face just got a lot rounder which is unfortunate. She has lost some of the facial angularity that was very evident at the SOTW finals 4 years ago. She is a model though so I am sure she knows how to position her face just so when she's photographed.
The one dimensional hair........oyyyyy, I've said my piece about that already.
On a brighter note....it was a gray and drizzly yesterday so I treated myself to a mani-pedi combo at a nail salon near my apartment. I was leafing through some of the magazines (every other person already had US Weekly and Star, raaaaaaaats!) and lo and behold, Charo is on three pages of one those bridal mags...and the September issue to boot! Two for Alfredo Angelo something (one group photo..she's the bride!....and one solo shot) that I think I've seen scanned on this thread already and another for Macys where a hot male model was nuzzling her neck.
I almost forgot...thank you very much for the Vogue India scans, Alex08. Great find!! I read about that in one the Charo articles but didn't think it was true....I assumed it was just another publicity stunt (akin to those alleged Vogue Espana and Bruce Weber/Ralph Lauren shoots) drummed up by her rah-rah girls.
The images were quite a pleasant surprise indeed!!
Alex, it was bad enough that I was the only male in the whole establishment that morning...I wasn't about to call more attention to myself by taking a photo of an ad in a bridal mag with my phone, LOL!
I was really looking forward to a great career in ~high fashion~ (i cringe whenever i use that term). I'm sure she's earning with catalogs, commercials and the likes though. For now i'll be happy for her on that front.
Charos isnt in the cover of Vogue India, NOT EVEN in Vogue India haha. She just modelled together with a lot of umm..."unknown" models. And she will never be anything like Lakshmi Menon, Shu Pei Qin, Tao Okamoto, Liu Wen, Du Juan....and its just too late.
