Cheap Chic - Bargain Hunting

I got a little picture happy and took pictures of cheap stuff I got in the past month today because I was bored and had nothing better to do...

From Ross:
$10. I like it but it gets linty very fast.

From Marshalls.

I don't remember the price but it couldn't have been more than 15 bucks. I  wearing this top. Looks good on me.

From Off Broadway, my new favorite shoe store.

$50. I adore these!!! They go really well with my grey jeans. They were on sale, as were the next two pairs of shoes.

$40. My first pair of flats. I'm extremely picky when it comes to flats. They're very comfortable.

$40.:heart::heart:

Most shoes I want tend to be well over 100 bucks each, so to me this is like getting 3 pairs for the price of 1. :D

I got this cute dress from Forever 21 for only $22.80. Cheap material but then again this is from F21 so do not expect the dress to be as nice as it is in the picture.

I also found this BB Dakota dress at this sporting goods place called Chick's for about $38.00. Much more better on then in the picture:blush:

Designer Looks for Less

So sorry if there was a topic like this already started, but I couldn't find it!

Is there a blog or website anywhere that shows how to get looks similar to designer pieces for less money? I know in magazines they always have that section where they show a runway look and then a bunch of cheaper pieces that resemble it. I thought we could post things here

Thanks, Kimkhuu!

Old Navy really has some diamonds in the rough at times.

I was at NY&Co last weekend because I was drawn to their button-down career tops.

They fit wonderfully!

Not the best quality, but the price was unbeatable. I got a $20 off $40 in the mail, and their tops were Buy 1 Get 1 for 50% off.

So, for $26 total I got two great tops. I got one light green/white striped and one light green with subtle lines.

Recently made a trip to Forever 21 and actually found some pretty good pieces.

$22 I think it goes really good with a pair of jeans or you can dress it up for work. I thought it was very Chanel spring 2007.

$20 This actually looks better in person. The layers are well constructed and it's a good dose of floral for spring. It matches really well with black tights and a fitted leather jacket.

^ I love that skirt. A leather jacket is exactly what I pictured it with too

I want I want.

I have a question about forever21 sizing. Does anyone know if shirts run small/big/true to size? I've never purchased anything from there, but I'm thinking of buying a shirt online.

^ I'll be honest... their sizing is a bit tough to go by sometimes... Sometimes I'm a Small there, sometimes I'm a Medium, and once in a great while... I'm a Large. Maybe others feel the same, but from whom I've spoken with regarding the sizing, they've been in agreement.

I agree that Forever 21 sizing jumps around a bit. Typically I just order a medium in everything (I'm rather small--a size 2, but have a long torso) and hope it fits. I also like my clothing a little on the big size, which is why I never buy a small. It's always difficult for me to order online from there b/c I never know if I'll lit it IRL...
