Chelsea Scanlan is one of Australia’s up-and-coming models. RAFW designers Josh Goot , Matthew Eager and Jessie Hill were quick to sign the tall, blonde beauty for their S/S 07/08 shows at Fashion Week. In between her runway commitments, Vogue spent five minutes chatting to the blue-eyed beauty and quizzed her with these ten questions.

1. Which designer do you most admire and why?

Tom Ford is an amazing designer. His ranges for Gucci were incredible and I LOVE his sunnies now!

2. Your ultimate style icon?

Kate Moss and Mary-Kate Olsen.

3. What’s in your beauty bag at the moment?

I always carry Carmex lip balm with me, OLAY Eye Gel, Johnston & Johnston Daily Moisturiser and Napoleon Perdis Bubble Gum Lip Gloss.

4. Biggest splurge?

My Red Vintage YSL Bag.

5. Worst fashion disaster?

I used to wear Jelly Sandals.

6. Top beauty tip?

I use Witch Hazel toner and Johnston + Johnston Daily Moisturiser. The more natural the better.

7. Secret travel tip?

I always carry a pair of woolly socks. It always gets cold on airplanes!

8. Favourite tunes?

I’m really into The Killers lately.

9. Best part of your job?

Wearing amazing clothes and meeting great people.

10. Proudest career moment?

Shooting for Australian Vogue!
