How about a thread for all the moms and dads at TFS, and for those looking to buy shoes as gifts for little ones? We all know the value of beautiful (and comfortable!) shoes.. and this of course applies to the young ones too..
So recommend shoes, post pictures... :flower:

Excellent thread....my recommendation is always to get childrens feet measured....I love patent childrens shoes (girls)

Shoo B Doo

I'll start.. I absolutely  Shoo B Doo - SHOO SHOOS.. they were recommended for my child by her pediatrician, and ever since I've bought them for all my friends' kids as well.. they are so cute and people always comment on my girl's shoes (she practically has the whole range!).. they're made of super soft natural leather, and are really easy to put on.. most importantly, i have noticed that she walks far easily with these shoes than any other..

^^ scar they are so so so so cute... they look like really good prewalkers :)

As a trained childrens shoe fitter ... its very important to think very hard when buying shoes for children .. acess when they will be wearing them .. what for ? and what they will be doing in them .. as well as long for etc. you need to buy the most practical, suporting and comfyest shoes for the situation. you also need to get their feet measure both width, depth and length .. and work with styles which are most practical for the childs feet. Most shoes shops for kids offer different widths as well. The worst thing you can do is put children in proper shoes to early .. it may look cute but it can cause long term damage to the kids feet. also dont put them in hard soled shoes to soon. babys need lots of surport as do children.

Badly fitting shoes can affect a child .. and can make them practically disable ... cause loads of problems and they may even need oporations, it can affect posture its that bad.. its important they fit right :flower:

Also the worst thing you can do is put insoles or healgrips (the non orthopedic pyscribed ones ... one su get form shoe shop) in side the childs feet.

As a guide you should have a thumb nails length of growing room ... half that for toddlers and babies. (as in the bit of your nails thats actually attatched to your thumb).

Yeah, plus they're non slip, so they really helped her to start walking confidently!

Those are great...I used simialar ones for my daughter ...I liked the fact that she found them hard to pull off.

The white ones are so cute...although they never stay white for long!^_^

I have started my own brand few months ago... for ladies and babies!!! The baby booties are all handmade. Since I do not have children, your feedback is very appreciated. Do you know good places I can sell them? Thanks!! :flower:
