I wouldn’t hopefully be out of line to say Elle US took the crown for best September issue right? Although I could see some arguing Vogue France did but based on the content and especially the size and quality this is definitely worthy of the title.

It's US Elle's 40th Anniversary Issue and only one page celebration. Talk about grand.

I don’t know what we should really expect from magazines when it comes to anniversaries that aren’t 25th or 50th or 100th. Any other anniversary just seems pointless to me. We probably care a whole lot more about these anniversaries than the staff does.

I hope ELLE digitizes its archive one day 🙏
