how can I forget the illustrations in the american girls book series? I thought the original and second edition illustrations were always lovely and beautiful (not the new ones...they've lost something), and I think all of the different periods portrayed in the book illustrations definitely influenced my love for historical and vintage fashion at a very early age.
artemis, i know the feeling. I always check chilkdren books when i go to libraries and book stores, they are good inspiration for my drawings/paintings
