i LOVE childrens books...which is good as i work in a bookstore in the childrens section....my favourite at the moment are the Charlie and Lola books they rock!!!

Lauren Child is an amazing illustrator!!

OMG! I cant believe that I completely missed this thread ... I think its my all time fave from tFS!

As well .. cant believe that John Tenniel (who did the original Alice in wonderland) and Gustav Dore (Charles Perrault short stories and the Bible) have been neglected ...

I recall this book where there were hedgehogs with apples on their backs ...,LOVED them! Tho no idea who did it!

omg i love those fairies!! i used to have the flower fairies books when i was little. still love when i find somethings with those on in the shops and stuff. the pictures are so beautiful
