Chloé F/W 2025.26 Paris

Also known as vegan silk
Usually used more towards Tencel or bamboo based fabrics to make a rayon variant as opposed to poly-based variants. Still technically a man made synthetic, but remains a cellulose fibre.

Doesn’t kill silk worms (yay vegans), horrible manufacturing practices.

And older feminism battled to let women wear trousers. Make it makes sense.
Easy. Women aren't a monolith any more than are men. Besides, one brand not sending pants down the runway in a broader clothing culture where women's pants are perfectly unremarkable and available in effectively infinite variety at every price point is a very different context than a brand deciding whether or not to be part of the push to normalize pants for women.

That said, do I think a women's collection full of dresses and skirts counts as furthering women's lib? No. But it this case, imho, it counts as making nice, wearable clothes for women. And that's enough for me to like it.
