Not a fan of the style, but sure it will sell like hotcakes, especially the jackets, the black leather jacket and the red leather blouson, they will be everywhere next season, I mean in the actual streets and not only in editorials.

And what would you have made? Lmao. I know this place is for critique but the fashion crowd are just dull in their incessant negativity. I’m a bit confused by people calling this costumey when a lot of the separates look more wearable than half the sh*t this season. Yes the flou is a bit much but it’s basically just marketing at this point. Let her have a few more seasons, I think her Chloe is so desirable

I like the vibes 😂 Stevie nicks Taylor Swift Beyonce's lemonade album , the mall on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. then out for cocktails Coachella overpriced inde bands, over price cocktails, LA.
That music and set is a complete and utter two story Mall. This collection needs something extra to get away from the cheapness of its h&m feel. It needs leather goods! suede cowhides beautiful leathers to elevate it. I swear those big poofy dresses where at h&m like 3 years ago.
All in all I like the women coolness but it's all way too trendy and the trend is not really active

reminds me of Olivier Theyskens' infamous Nina Ricci collection, but it's clear the construction is very different here.
Probably inferior and in general I can’t stand these hemlines and will forever prefer his Rochas over NR due to the more severe presentations of his work in the latter (despite the image being softer- hard to explain so early in the morning lol).

That last part is my least favorite but the first one I ADORE. It’s unapologetically feminine and sensual, the way Chloé used to be, it’s almost like a link of continuity has finally been established between the more exhuberant days of Stella, the best collections of Phoebe and 2024. Of course it’s going to look repetitive, it better does! a servile designer that is pulling dramatic changes to cater to the suits? screw that! I don’t want her to hold on to gimmicks for dear life the way Demna does but this aren’t gimmicks, you feel the lightness and fun just flowing through these looks. I really can’t think of a woman I’ve met who would not find at least something to incorporate into her wardrobe in all of this.

And what would you have made? Lmao.
this argument… I’m going to repeat myself but as a consumer (and we all are), no product is above criticism, I don’t need a chemical engineering degree and a career in detergents to tell you how I think a certain brand of detergent smells like s*it to me. I keep seeing this rhetoric in fashion discourse (‘you don’t like Pavarotti?! bet you can take better pictures!’) to shut down any debate. Of course being vicious and destructive about designers and their work helps no one but the lack of critical thinking is a major problem in the industry right now, it has really decreased competitiveness and as a result, standards are barely above rock bottom.

It’s also totally okay to enjoy something while people in the same thread, do not, I believe we all fit into one thread, you don’t need a reservation lol, so this idea that negativity prevents anyone from enjoy something… why is it such a turn-off? just be sure of what you like, and get to know members, sometimes just seeing someone with a record of questionable taste not liking what you like is actually a good sign. 😆

I’m not trying to shut down debate, I’m just bored of self-conscious, pissy gays who constantly spew sh*t to feel important. Guess I shouldn’t follow fashion then…. 🤷‍♂️

Very directionless, all over the place, starting from the shoe choices. She should beg Lotta to come back because Lotta gave the Chloe women an edge. This is borderline Kate Moss x TopShop in better fabrics

Chemena's daywear is fine, but I extremely dislike her evening, those bubble fabric dresses are extremely unflattering

Also, where are the good bags?

This collection reminder some similar pieces I had when I was a teenager, the indian gauze dresses and blouses we thrifted at vintage markets. Especially the one on Vittoria, remember me of some hippy trends when I was adolescent. I agree that this collection will sell a lot, but as someone stated before, if I want to look boho, I buy Isabel Marant for half the price.

I like it for Chloe and its best Chloe looked so far in years since Phoebe left, i have to say i did not finish to see the video because it got boring and it had less focus compared to the first collection as in the looks each stood out while being of same tribe. (even is she piles things up heavy)

The set i think could have stayed more intimate like the first show because it gives & Other Stories flagship store vibes now.

I like what she is doing for the brand while figuring it out and it has energy and room for improvement.

I think this and new Valentino will start the boho maximalist to be back again beside the sea of Phoebe minimal chic idea of modern.
