Clu - Thank you so much for posting about the sale! Karma to you. I haven't received my Rolande's yet. They were paid for at the Barney's in Beverly Hills, then sent to my SA in Boston over 3wks ago. My GF in Boston has been in Shanghai for a month, so they've been sitting on my SA's shelf with the receipt. Do you think they will give me the sale price (refund or return then re-sell at sale price)? I guess it doesn't hurt to call & ask. That's almost $400.00usd. Too bad I bought them when the CAD wasn't as strong as it is now.

Your red Simple Pumps are beautiful! Were the red on sale too or just the blue & green? What shade of blue?

Did you see any of the Materna or UnVoiler wedges or flats on sale?

I called BH and asked about the magenta, she said not on sale...but, I did score the black patent V strap looking heels in your pics above...they had to be shipped from another local, but they were a steal at $440.00, down from $740.00. I am seriously contemplating getting the greenish looking pair aswell.

In your fourth pic, the first black patent slingbacks from the left..I asked about those..she said they were NOT on sale booohhoo!!!

did you get your red simple patent pumps on sale? or reg price...

i went into NM san francisco today and didn't see too many on sale. they had the white activa shoes, but that's all i remember seeing.

i did look through the fall buy book - the first installment. looks like NM will be getting a lot of louboutins this fall. leyla mentioned the BLING BLING shoes - they are GORGEOUS. they are silver very prive shoes (leather) with large clear asymmetric rhinestones on the toe box. if i remember correctly, they run about $1300-$1400. ouch. they will also be carrying the pump with all the spikes on the back (sorry i forgot the name) in the purple/blue suede. there were a ton of other styles but i can't remember their names at all. ah - there was also the glitter numero prive slingbacks in there too, so if you missed out on pre-ordering them from the website, here's your chance!

go into your local NM and ask them for their buy book. i am sure you can start reserving styles so you are guaranteed a pair when they hit the stores. good luck!

I am sooo jealous of the sale prices you guys get in the States.
I live in Australia. We only have one store in the entire country which stocks CLs, and it's not where I live. They only get EXTREMELY limited stock, so there is NEVER a sale. Even that said, I've never seen really nice stuff half-price. We're lucky to get 20% off.

Actually...I made an error...there is another store that carries CLs, but only 3 or 4 styles. I tried on the Rolandes..and they just killed my feet. Barely a 5 minute shoe on me :-(

were the white activa on sale? I was at NM SF the other day and only saw the brown patent YOYOs on sale for $485.00 and a few pairs of t strap patent shoes, which looked like the iowas. Do you rem the price and size?

I just got the nude patent and black patent activas on sale from barneys seattle for $440.00 each.

exotic - i saw the white activa while i was sitting down flipping through the fall buy books. i was facing the size 9-9 1/2 or whatever the largest size is - i was facing that aisle and that's where i saw the shoes. i didn't go looking around for them in other sizes nor do i know the price since i am not interested in them. sorry! but give them a call tomorrow and ask - i am sure they can tell you about the cost and size availability. good luck!

exoticarbcqen the magentas not on sale??? impossible! all the shoes on the pics i took are on sale. unless she didn't know what you were talking about...maybe she confused them with the pair of snakeskin magenta that are not on sale. in any case, i should talk to her tomorrow. i will find out about those magenta pumps and let you all know asap. oh and i got my red pumps at regular price. they came in black, yellow and green. all patent. =]


i went back with my best friend today. she took home the 5" pigalles pictured above and the brown rolandes. and i got the tan and brown rolandes. contemplating on which i should keep. but i snagged the last nudes in my size. i really can't believe the great discount i got on them.
