Nice Dulci! I love that style.

Received my white rodita--they are gorgeous but i'm not sure if i should keep them. they are probably impossible to keep clean. Arrgh...i think they will have to go back. :(

Jelly, Ohhh Fun! I can imagine those would be tough to keep clean. You could treat them with a stain resistant. We were just talking about that stuff in the Manolo thread. But I'd totally understand if you don't want to deal with that.

Okay ladies, question: for the Decollete...did the sizing run like totally small for yall?! Because I have had to return a pair, order a new pair, ship a new pair, then go back and return the shipped pair...TWICE...still the sizing is just not fitting right...!?!? Any comments or feedback?!

in louboutin sizing, I had to go a 1/2 size up for the decollete, my friend on the other hand had to go up a full size. I guess it all depends on how wide your feet are, because the toe box seems to be super tight. Hope this helps.

BTW all the agony was well worth it :p

^ its just so weird, becuase in all my other Louboutin's, I'm a 36.5...but THIS style is killing me! haha. You're right though, the toe box is definitely tighter..and maybe thats the whole thing that has been throwing me off...boo. I just cant help how much more uncomfortable it is compared to my all my other ones... :(

meeeshelle, its great to have you back! =)
I've never went up a size with louboutins, its either true size with me or i'd go down half a size if they are pigalles 120mm...i havent had experinces with toe boxes, but i did try a ronlado once and i stuck with my true size...it generally differs with your feet, but you have to walk in them to see the true fit, sometimes when you first wear them you'd think they are tight or its not the correct sizing...then when you walk in them a bit you'd notice that they are...if they are a bit big try slides inserts . :flower:

It just goes to show how different feet respond differently. I went up a full size in all of my Decolletes. Actually, my first pair (black Jazz) I went up 1.5, but I had to put heel pads in them. I think I could have done a half size smaller. The Decollete is my favorite shoe, btw. I find them to be super-comfortable! :flower:

I went up 1/2 size in the decolletes (I have them in black patent). The toe box is small but any bigger and I wouldn't be able to keep them on my feet. They are a perfect all around style and are comfortable. They also do stretch and break in after you wear them.

Also, I received my pair of Madeleines from Saks and they sent me the wrong color! Not mustard, but purple. I am sending them back. I mention this shoe because for some reason they ran really small for me. I ordered a whole size up and they just fit. I could use even 1/2 size more up. So this shoe is really narrow and small for anyone considering it. I have to say that the style does make your legs look long and hot!

^^ awww, that's too bad! you didn't like the purple? i just checked barney's and they no longer have the mustard. :(

i'm definitely sending the white rodita back. the white zipper fabric is right above the sole--it'll be difficult to keep clean even with stain guard. so far i've been good this sale season. :D

i love the madeleines! got them in purple...those ran true size to me...just proves that sizing differs from one feet to the other...and yes they do look unbeliveablely hot....there is a new version with feathers for fall...looks interesting=)
try calling saks and see if they can locate you ur correct size in mustard..but the purple is goregous as well=)

meeeeshelle--my patent decolettes are quite uncomfortable for me as well--they hardly stretched. but if i had taken another 1/2 size up, they would have been slipping off my feet. i guess some styles are better suited than others depending on how wide your feet are.

Dulcisima, the madeleines ran TTS for you? I wonder if each pair of a style can run differently...it just seems so strange that one style can run so differently on each individual! The purple are growing on me; I keep trying them on to see how great they look on my legs, ha ha. (Seriously, I think Louboutins are a sickness) I think the main thing was the disappointment of not receiving what you ordered. I was looking forward to a pop of yellow:(

Any pics of the fall style madies with feathers?

FYI: Some new CLs posted to Ebay.UK

Some of Louboutin's shoes are featured in the "Sex in the City Movie." At least, from what I've seen in this behind-the-scenes book. I must admit that I'm being a bit more fond of Christian Louboutin's shoes actually look quite lovely. I just saw the first page of this massive thread, and I tend to disagree. The Babydoll Slingback is actually quite lovely. Simplistic, but beautiful. I always tend to find beauty in simplicity. The... beige or peach pumps in Post #12,113 are very nice and very simple. I just wouldn't be sure if the toes of the shoes are too short for any femme wearing these because the toe seems too short for a kind of toe design best known for being too small or providing the look of small feet.

So one by one, I'm starting to adopt and love certain styles I see in print and media. I've been fond of Oscar de la Renta, 7 For All Mankind, and now Christian Louboutin. Now I have to remember how to spell "Louboutin." Have to remember there are no "A's" in "Louboutin."

I was in shoe heaven yesterday and went to Barneys, Saks and Neiman Marcus! Saw so many pairs of Louboutins at Barney's on sale - they were all grouped on one table (I should have taken a picture for you all!) to the point that they looked cheap, if you know what I mean, there were probably about 100 shoes (all left feet) together crammed on a table. . . there were the Madelines (only one in purple) and one gorgeous croc sirene in dark navy blue (only size 35); the paliette decollete in silver, the en passant, the wedge in patent with one strap across the toe (forget the name). At Neiman's they had the white Rodita zipper and it was already dirty from handling by the mob. At Sak's was depressing - it was dark in there and a mess and silent. I didn't stay there long enough to tell which Louboutins were on sale. They did have the Tom Tom, which is the pre-fall take on the clichy, but with the decollete heel - it was in gorgeous grey patent leather. This is a beautiful and classic shoe!

On a side note, I wanted to buy a pair of the super high Declic, so I contacted that seller we all do not like on Ebay. She has two IDs (as she states in her main auctions, of which she just had a .99 cent blow-out sale). The second ID is to sell used items. On her second ID she had won an auction for Declic in size 39.5 for 667 (it was Aust. dollars but that's the price in USD) and offered to sell them to me for 995! I HATE her~!

Not only the Louboutins! I too saw the SATC movie, fell in love with another special shoe that everyone is seeking and called the boutique (hint: blue, wedding, closet). The SA at the boutique told me that they were sold out (retail price 895 - selling on ebay for 2000!!!) but they are getting another order and that there was a waiting list. He said that another client of his buys "in bulk" and had pre-ordered 10 pair in various sizes and was on the waiting list. I WONDER who it is (not).

And correction to my post above, it's not the "tom tom" for Louboutin, but the "ron ron"! I knew it was a short man's name!! :)

I went to Barneys NY yesterday and I must say that I was not the least impressed and maybe even a little disappointed. Hardly any Loubs on sale and not the popular styles at all. I wonder if they already sold out.
I only bought the Oh my slingbacks which might be a boring style for you but I think they are classic and I needed a basic black pair. They are super comfy too.
Saks wasn't much better. I think they even had less Loubs on sale.

velony: I don't think the oh my slings are boring... they are a gorgeous basic!!

and I can't believe how the stores let "her" buy in bulk. they can't NOT know that she's reselling in huge quantities and for a billion percent markup!
