Christian Louboutin

Greetings! First time poster looking for some advice regarding a pair of Christian Louboutin Steva Pumps. My wife saw these in a fashion magazine earlier in the fall and obsessed over them for weeks. I thought they would be a wonderful surprise for her come Christmas.

I tracked down the NY store and after talking with them a few times over the phone decided to go ahead with the purchase even though I was made fully aware that they have a strict 7 day exchange policy. I was told they ran a full size small, and that if she was an 8.5 that the 9.5 (39.5) would fit. Well, the risk did not work in our favor, as the shoes are a full size too small. A friend of hers who wears 7.0 tried them on and they only seemed a half size to big. How can a 39.5 measure out to be a US 7.5?? My only option at this point seems to be to try to sell them on Ebay.

I've attached a photo of the shoes, and was wondering what the prevailing opinion is on this forum about their likelihood of being bought? Are these a popular style?

I've also never sold anything on Ebay before and I worry that without a seller history people will pass over the listing. Is this a valid concern?

Thanks for any advice!

I am sure that as they were the ones advising you to get them in a different size to the size you would usually go for, the very least they could do is give you a store credit note for the full amount and then your wife might be able to find something else, and if she is lucky, they might even be on sale now :woot: . Refund policies differ store to store, but I am sure you have a good case as you spoke to them a few times and you ordered them in this size on their advise. Do not take no for an answer :p

at least try to exchange them mangell... they are levely though. My NM had a teal suede version of them on sale (25% off Xmas sale), I tried them on, and thought they ran a bit big... i think they had a 38 or 38.5.

Hiii I'm really excited and had no one else to share this with!!

I just recieved my Black Patent YOYO Peep Toe Pump!! If anyone is thinking of buying these they're amazing!
I'm a size 8/8.5 and I ordered a size 9 *39* and they fit so so good!
Also the heel seems a little high like it'd be 4 inches and I just wore 4 inch Guess shoes like a couple weeks ago and could barely take a step in them. With the CL'S I could run a marathon the support is soo nice! I had a few questions what is the red bag with Christian Louboutin Paris for? Is it just for putting my shoes in or...?
And how come it says Christian Louboutin Paris everywhere but the bottom of my shoe says "vero cuoio" made in Italy? I'm going to post pics with them on later! Thanks

Congrats on your new Yoyo Zeppas! I actually called the boutique today to order the Yoyo Zeppa in Natural leather....they are $780! I thought they would be less expensive since the suede ones are $710. Anyhow, we can't wait to see pics of your new shoes.
The bag is a "sleeper" bag for your shoes, which keeps them protected when not in use, and is also nice for travel when you want to take the shoes w/ you.

awww, congratulations, they sound fab. The reason the CL isnt on the bottom of the shoe is that the red sole does all the talking for you :D
Enjoy your fab new shoes

hello there ;)

i havent phisically got them yet as they dont get to the shops until at least MARCH.... (CL has very late shipments)
so in regards to the price i will not be able to help.. sorry:flower:

as fo rthe HELMUTS they can come in literally ANY colour, fabric... depending on what each shop orders for themselves:doh:

/quote=vintage_princess]I really like those too. Leyla has them so maybe she can let you know ;)[/quote]

Mangell-
How much would you be willing to part with the shoes for? I'm sure there are many people here willing to take them off your hands.

MAY I REMIND THAT THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO TRANSACTIONS ON TFS

THANK YOU

Attention Attention...lol

Footcandyshoes.com will soon have the Yoyo Zeppa's in black patent leather for sale on their website. I will keep an eye out...

Sorry if I got anyone in trouble!

There is some good news though! I took everyone's advice and called the store and talked to my original sales person. After explaining a number of times that these were obviously a 7.5 US (a full two sizes smaller than what is marked) he agreed to make it right and exchange the pair for a 40.5. Need less to say, he made my day! I feel I got pretty lucky that they still had the 40.5 in stock. I over-nighted them back to the store yesterday, and hopefully the new pair will work out. Thanks again eveyone!

OH! those Mouret Louboutins are quite fierce, you would have to be in the right mood to pull those off, really be able to work it..

I'm dying to have a black pair of those! I would lve to be able to get a pair like Sienna's (satin material)
