They look great, Miss Ciao Bella (Post #13,055)! If anything, I'm a bit skeptical of the studs on the booties. However, the booties themselves look great. Black tights (with a foot) or stockings with those booties make the look even more lovely. Just another example of Louboutin loveliness.

Oh no, Bella, that's too bad. Usually Loubs run small so therefore we tend to size up. What size did you get? However, they look stunning on you. Maybe you can get another apir half a size smaller?

I know! Velony... I had to size up a full size for my Metallikas so I took a chance on sizing up only a half size as that was the ONLY size available.
I thought they would be way too small... dang it! If they do not sell, I am going to get creative with foot pedals and make them work

I know, sizes are just not consistent which makes it hard to purchase online. I also took a whole size bigger in my Metallikas. I assume the Astras seem to run pretty true tp size then? I'm sure they'll sell. Maybe there is a chance you can get the correct size somewhere for you.

Okay, so, my first post here.

I have been an obsessed CL fan for many moons, and Santa has said he might bring me a pair... but here's the problem. I really really really want a pair of Laponos, and I can't find a black pair in my size anywhere. I'm watching eBay but no luck so far. I'm a size 7, and from what I've read, I should get a 38 in the Laponos.

First, in your expert opinions, is this the right size for me?

Second, is there anywhere besides eBay I could look?

Welcome SalemK! The Laponos fit especially small, so I think that a 38 sounds right for you. Note, I had mine stretched because even though I sized up, the toe box is extremely narrow. Now they are a dream.

eBay is your best bet at this point, but you could also try Bonanzle. It's an eBay alternative. Do not buy from iOffer because they will most definitely be counterfeit.

I saw that pair on eBay but they are actually size 39 -- she just put 38 in the listing to compensate for the "one size up" issue. Phooey, because what a great price, too.

I am off to look at Bonanzle! I also ran into this crazy site called fastcommerce that clearly sells fakes. And I will avoid iOffer -- I wasn't sure what to think of them. I always go back to eBay because I know what's up... plus that cashback offer is very attractive.

If I can't find the Laponos I am thinking maybe Metallika or Astraqueen. But I'm not giving up yet.



(Oh, and I never would have thought of having a toe box stretched. Brilliant.)
