...from switzerland...i do quite like their work for its strange clean aesthetic...the shades of grey, it seems very silent, even absent sometimes...i also like how they put people and landscape together...

what do you think?

here is one from www.jedroot.com/ hair/bs/bs-fashion.html

what do you think of these photographers, anna k?

^well.. basically what i said in my first post, though i don't like everything.
when you go to their website there are always two pages of one editorial and i am biased to like the one where you can`t see the model's face..

some of their photographs i find too much "rich-sexy" but those were there is that singular person stranded in nature somewhat disconnected yet part of it...the inexpressive coulours..that`s what i like about it. cool softness. and it's not very me^_^

what do you think travolta?

here's another one from jedroot:

sorry i didn't clarify myself..i was referring to the photographers posted on this link..
but now as i am looking further there are only a few interesting ones
i agree with your comments...there is almost a flatness to their photography. overall, i like it. I think I liked this editorial the best because it was more acidic, and the compostions broke their mold.

ah, ok! the first link didn`t work for me and the second leads me to the hair stylist...did you mean those photographers he collaborated with?
if so, i really like lepage (there's a thread on him by astrid21 i think), i also often like luis sanchiz...

yes, flatness was the word i was looking for!

thanks for the editorial, i like that one, too.

yep, that's what i meant. are you a photographer anna k?

the photographs with Amanda Moore are lovely, and is that Maria Dvirnik in the forth post? i like most of these pictures. i like it when a photographer plays with light and shadow

thanks for posting Anna Karina :flower:

Their style is very calm, like they didn't make any noise while shooting it. Just the sea's rippling. It puts me in a yoga mood  But seriously, I like this a lot, I could stare at it for a really long time. Very neat usage of light and shadow too.

you're welcome eternity! i agree with you perlefine...and thanks for the additional pictures!

travolta, no, i'm not a photographer rather a painter>artist...but i've integrated camera work in the past few months and would like to go on combining the two. i'm not familiar with the techniques of photography though, i've just fallen into it and am experementing all the time. it's all about visualizing (is that a word??) things for me...

^ That is exactly why I need a Lomo SuperSampler. Though I wonder if that one was taken that way, it feels like it's just a series of shots lumped together.

I realized I agree with what you said about how they 'harmonize' people and nature. This edit may contain a bit too much sex, but the color of the water and the compositions are lovely. Clever photography.
