they used the same effect on a previous ad. i like it! it makes the product look less obvious/less "in your face".

of course i can't imagine myself buying a coach product - but i still like their ads.

Love how gwyneth looks in both pictures, she doesn't look ugly, it's obvious that won't look like a model because mean she's not 20 years old. About the effect, i don't know, maybe they shouldn't have done it over the bags as weel.

i think it works since they're clearly not selling actual merchandise here, but more of a lifestyle. if they'd be selling the merchandise, there'd be some extra photoshop on the bags...
