Codie's editorial in Another magazine. Codie's definitely put a lot more intensity into her eyes recently.

She looks like a religious icon there, and everyone else pales in comparison. Gorgeous shot.

True that she steals the spotlights on that shot (and she is none of my favorite). Agree with HeatherAnne about the comparison with a religious icon. The partial nudity there is simply classy, nothing harsh or unnecessary there. By the way, funny fact about these Powerhouse stories, the two Richardson shots are entirely boob-free :p

Codie Young: Jacobs is passionate designer
Tuesday Oct 18 2011

Codie Young says Marc Jacobs is "passionate" about his runway shows.

The young model has walked the catwalk for designers such as Chanel, Marni, Rick Owens, Sonia Rykiel, Erdem, Peter Pilotto, Mulberry and Carven.

However, walking for Marc's dance hall themed show was unlike any experience she's had before.

"It wasn't like working on any other runway show because you're on that catwalk from start to finish," she told British Vogue.

"There was this real sense of excitement as the curtain went up and a sense of relief when it went down again. It was a performance more than a show. Marc is so passionate about his collection. He really takes time to choose the models he uses. For the fittings, each model had to pull a pose like in the show - it reminded me of the musical Chicago."

Australian Codie was scouted last year in her local shopping centre. The 18-year-old is now casting her eye over the labels. She has a few designers she particularly wants to work for in the future.

"I'd love to work for Viktor & Rolf and McQueen," she enthused. "The creativity behind each of those labels is incredible. If I got to wear a pair of McQueen shoes I think I'd die. The thought behind the designs is amazing."

Codie has a passion for vintage clothes. She prefers to find original designs rather than wear what is on the high street.

"I love vintage shopping," she gushed. "London is so good for that. I'd much rather find a piece that's one of kind than head to Zara and buy something everyone else has."
